Go Team!

In September 2003, in a junior high school that was called “Spensa” at Cirebon. Show the new activity as the extern school activity.

That is a drum band or a small marching band that we call “Gema Bahana Winaya”. The name was given by the headmaster in that year, Mr. Salmon. As the coach, Mr. Anto for the brass sections and Mr. Bimbin for the percussion sections. Mrs. Yonni as the music teacher in this school, is very excited. She’s always gave us the new songs for we played.

For the first time, Gema Bahana Winaya is show out on the street to carry along in a procession a “Walikota Cup” in the middle of February. That was so nervous and full of pessimistic. No costume. We just wear a black and white like waiters. And the second too, we still wear that freak clothes which made us so grounded. Because we’re not the only one drum band at that festival. The third was going better. We wear a new costume that was like Indonesian flag’s color but doesn’t out from Cirebon style.

As the first squad, we just play in twelve events. After that the second squad is replace us.
